꼬소한 버터향 가득한 샌드맛이 아주 좋습니다요~
강릉샌드 메뉴입니다.
저는 2박스로 해서 커피만, 딸기맛 사봤고요,
'강원옥 찹쌀떡'이라고, 샵인샵 느낌으로 찹쌀떡브랜드도 입접해잇는데, 흑임자찹쌀떡으로 한박스 사봤습니다.
왼쪽은 커피맛, 오른쪽은 딸기맛입니다.
포장도 개별로 봉지에 들어있어서 딱 선물로 사가기 좋단 생각이 들었습니다.
가격은 살짝 비싼감이 있었는데, 맛은 아주 보장됩니다.
요건 차갑게 해서 드셔야해요.
아중에 시간 좀 지나서 크림 녹은상태로 먹어봤는데, 차가운 상태의 딱딱한 크림이 더 맛있더라고요.
저는 딸기맛과 커피맛 중에선 커피맛 승!
우선, 버터의 고소한 향이 빵부분에 아주 가득합니다.
그리고, 차갑게 먹었을 떄 느껴지는, 아주 미묘한 바삭한 식감도 아주 좋고요.
그렇게 풍미 좋은 빵 부분을 지나서, 커피향 은은~하게 나는 크림까지 들어가면.
이 조화는 먹어보셔야합니다.ㅎㅎ 버터풍미랑 커피크림이랑 아주 잘어울려요.
그래서 딸기맛보다 커피맛이 더 좋앗지만, 딸기도 좋긴 했어요.
요건 아이들이 좋아할 것 같은 맛!
요래 귀여운 농작물 굳즈?들도 준비되어 있습니다.ㅎㅎ
강원옥 찹쌀떡에서 산 흑임자찹쌀떡입니다.
보관할땐 냉동보관 하다가, 먹을때 실온에서 살짝 녹여서 먹으라고 하더라구요.
요거도 강릉샌드 샌드처럼 크림이 완전 녹으면 전 별로더라고요.
좀 차가울 떄 , 딱딱한 크림상태에서 드시길 추천!
어르신들은 샌드보다 이게 훨씬 본인 스타일이라고 하시더라고요.
엄청 쫀득한 찹쌀떡은 아니었고, 약간 크림과 같이 녹아내리는 듯한 맛이랄까요?
제 상식과 살짝 다른 찹쌀떡이었는데, 안에 크림이 고소해서 저도 맛나게 먹었습니다.

[Gangneung Sand] A Must-Visit Dessert & Souvenir Spot in Chodang-dong, Gangneung
This is 'Gangneung Sand,' a popular dessert shop in Chodang-dong, Gangneung, right in Chodang Sundubu Village. If you're visiting Gangneung and looking for a great dessert or travel gift to bring home — Gangneung Sand is an excellent choice. The sand cookies are filled with rich, nutty butter flavor that's just wonderful. 😄
Here's the menu. I picked up two boxes — one coffee flavor and one strawberry — and also grabbed a box of black sesame rice cake from 'Gangwon-ok Chapssal Tteok,' a separate brand that operates as a shop-in-shop inside.
Left is coffee flavor, right is strawberry. Each piece comes individually wrapped, which makes them perfect for gifting. The price is on the slightly higher side, but the taste is guaranteed. One important tip — these need to be eaten cold. I tried one later after the cream had softened at room temperature, and the firm, chilled cream version is far superior. 😄
Between the two flavors, coffee was the clear winner for me. The buttery aroma in the cookie itself is wonderfully rich and full, and when eaten cold there's this subtle, delicate crispness that's really satisfying. Then as you bite through that flavorful cookie into the gently coffee-scented cream... the combination is something you have to experience. 😄 The butter richness and coffee cream complement each other beautifully. The strawberry was good too — more of a flavor the kids would love! 😄 There are also some adorable farm-themed goods available in-store. 😄
Now, the black sesame rice cake from Gangwon-ok. Store in the freezer and thaw at room temperature before eating, they said. Just like the sand cookies, I'd recommend eating these while still slightly cold — when the cream inside is still firm. The elders in our group said this was much more their style than the sand cookies. 😄 It wasn't the super chewy type of rice cake I was expecting — more of a melt-together quality where the cake and cream dissolve in harmony. A slightly different rice cake experience from what I was used to, but the nutty cream inside was delicious. 😄
