그래서, 숙소를 최대한 싸게 구한 곳인데, 위치와 가격, 퀄리티면에서 만족했습니다~!

대기실입니다.

ibis budget Luzern City 위치는 루체른역에서 트램타고 2정거장 정도 오면 되는 거리입니다.

그래서 루체른역과 아주 멀지 않은 위치적 이점이 있습니다. 걸어가면 한 15~20분정도 거리에요.

저는 카니발기간이라 루체른역까지 걸어가는 길이 온통 공연이었어서 즐겁게 걸어다녔습니다.

다리아프면 트램타면 되고요! 호텔 바로 앞에 트램역이 있어서 타기 좋습니다.

자, 방입니다.

방은 일본 호텔같이 좁습니다. 그런데, 있을건 다 있습니다.

굳이 넓은방 필요 없이 잠자는 공간만 필요하신 분들은 여기 딱이에요!

 제일 큰 캐리어 두개 놓기는 좀 비좁긴 했지만, 그래도 다 펼쳐놓고 짐도 다 풀어놀 수 있었어요.

신기하게 카드키가 나무로 되어있떠라고요.ㅎㅎ

자, 침대는 1층, 2층에도 있습니다.

이론상으론 3명까지도 잘 수 있는데, 커다란 캐리어를 가져온다면.. 3명까진 무리일 것 같기도 합니다.ㅎㅎ

짐이 가볍다면 가능!

숙소 관리가 잘되어있어서 아주 깔끔합니다.

그리고 트램이 지나가는 바로 도로에 있는 1층 방이었는데도, 샷시가 좋은지 창문 닫아놓으면 차소리, 사람 말소리같은게 잘 안들렸어요.

세면대는 침대 바로 옆 공간에 있습니다.

아, 그리고 숙소 바로옆에 커다란 마트가 있어서 이거도 아주 장점입니다.

세면대 바로옆엔 샤워부스가 있어요.

침대랑 세면대랑 나눠주는 커텐이 있습니다.

작은 공간에 아기자기하게 이거저거 있을건 다 있어요.ㅎㅎ

그리고, 문 바로 옆엔 요렇게 건식 화장실이 있땁니다.

물도 콸콸 잘 나오고요, 그리고, 히터가 겁니 빵빵합니다.

전 좀 추운날 갔는데, 엄청 따뜻하게 잘 잤습니다.

헤어드라이기는 20프랑 버짓하고 빌려야합니다.

보증금이니까 드라이기 반납하면 돌려받을 수 있어요~

커피, 음료, 시리얼, 과일, 빵 등 아주 알차게 준비되어 있습니다.

아담한 방에 어울리지 않는 조식 구성이랄까요?ㅎㅎ

독일 숙소에서 느꼈던 것과 마찬가지로, 여기 이비스 버짓호텔도 빵이 정말 미쳤습니다.

겉바속촉이 우리나라 빵과는 좀 차원이 다르달까요? 어떻게 빵을 이렇게 만드는지 모르겠어요..

바게트를 아주 추천드립니다. 한개도 안딱딱해요!

다양한 빵, 햄, 치즈류, 그리고 요거트 등과 조식 맛나게 즐겼습니다.

바게뜨에 햄, 치즈 등 얹어서 샌드위치처럼 만들어드시길 추천합니다~

[ibis budget Luzern City] A Great Value Hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland

This is 'ibis budget Luzern City,' a budget-friendly hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland. As luck would have it — or maybe it was pure luck! — my visit to Lucerne happened to coincide with the Carnival period. Accommodation prices were through the roof, so I hunted for the most affordable option available, and this place delivered on location, price, and quality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a great value stay!

Here's the lobby area. The hotel is about 2 tram stops from Lucerne Station — so not far at all. Walking takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes. Since it was Carnival season, the entire walk to the station was lined with street performances, which made the journey genuinely fun. 😄 And if your feet give out, the tram stop is right in front of the hotel — super convenient.

Now, the room. It's compact — think Japanese business hotel vibes. But everything you need is there. If all you need is a clean place to sleep and you don't need extra space, this is perfect! Fitting two large suitcases was a tight squeeze, but we still managed to unpack everything. One fun little detail — the key card is made of wood! 😄

The beds are bunk-style, with one on the bottom and one on top. Theoretically you could fit three people, but with large luggage... that might be pushing it. 😄 Travel light and it's doable!

The room is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. And despite being a ground-floor room right on a tram road, the windows were so well insulated that once closed, outside noise — cars, people talking — was barely audible at all. The sink is right next to the bed, with the shower booth right beside it, and a curtain separating the bed area from the sink. Dry toilet is right next to the door. Everything is cleverly fitted into a compact space. 😄

The water pressure is great, and the heating is seriously powerful. I visited on a cold day and slept wonderfully warm. One thing to note — the hair dryer requires a 20 CHF deposit to borrow, which you get back when you return it.

Now, breakfast. Coffee, drinks, cereal, fruit, bread — it's a surprisingly generous spread for such a compact hotel. The breakfast almost feels out of place given the room size! 😄 But it was excellent. Just like at the ibis hotel in Germany, the bread here is absolutely incredible. That crispy outside, soft inside texture is on a completely different level from bread back home in Korea. I'm honestly not sure how they do it. The baguette is a must — and it's not hard or tough at all! A great spread of various breads, deli meats, cheeses, and yogurt made for a very satisfying morning meal. My recommendation: load up a baguette with ham and cheese and make yourself a sandwich. 😄
