대전 중구 선화동 한식뷔페 맛집 '그곳에가면'입니다.
음식맛이 전체적으로 좋았고, 쫀득한 밥이 좋았던 곳입니다.
아쉬운건, 제육하나 있었음 좋았을텐데.. 하는 구성의 아쉬움이 있었습니다.
자, 가격은 8,000원이고요, 다 먹고 후불로 지불하시면 됩니다.
전 평일 점심에 갔고, 음식 구성을 한번 보여드리겠습니다.
먼저 흰쌀밥.
그리고 흑미밥이 있었습니다.
배추김치, 무말랭이, 상추?겉절이,
콘마요파스타?, 고추무침, 계란찜, 고등어조림.
잔치국수랑, 상추, 그리고 간단히 비벼먹을만한 양념들.
그리고 뷔페에서 스프 빼놓을 수 없죠!
스프도 엄청 양이 많이 준비되어 있었고요.ㅎ
국은 미역국과 김칫국 두가지가 준비되어있었습니다.
전체적으로 구성이.. 있을건 다 있는 것 같으면서도 없는것 같은게..
고기가 전혀 보이지 않았습니다.ㅠ...
제가 간 날만 그런건지, 원래 그런건진 한번가봐서 잘 모르겠네요.
구성은 아쉽지만, 맛이 좋으면 되겠죠?!
우선, 스프는 딱 오뚜기스프 맛입니다.ㅎㅎ 후추 촥촥 뿌려먹는거 좋아해서 전 맛나게 먹었습니다.
그리고, 흑미밥이 찰밥인가봐요. 아주 쫜득쫜득한 식감이 좋았고요,
계란찜이 이날의 베스트였습니다. 간이 짭짜름한게 아주 밥반찬으로 딱이더라고요.
식감도 딱딱과 부드러움 그 사이 어느 식감이었습니다.
아쉬운건 고등어의 상태.. 좀 말라있었어요.
기름이 찬 느낌도 아녔구요~
다시한번 고등어가 아니라 제육이었으면 어땠을지...ㅋㅋ
계란찜은 아주 마음에 들어서 두번 퍼먹었네용.ㅎㅎ

This is 'Geugose Gamyeon,' a Korean buffet restaurant in Seonhwa-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon. The food was solid across the board, and the wonderfully chewy rice was a highlight. My one wish — if only there had been some jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork) on the spread! 😄
Pricing is 8,000 won, paid after the meal. I visited on a weekday lunch, so here's a look at what was on offer. White rice and black rice, napa kimchi, dried radish strips, lettuce geotjeori, corn mayo pasta salad, seasoned chili peppers, steamed egg, braised mackerel, janchi guksu with lettuce and seasonings for mixing, soup — and of course, no buffet is complete without a good soup! There was plenty of it too. 😄 Two soup options: miyeok guk and kimchi guk.
Overall the spread felt like it had everything and yet something was missing — and that something was meat. Not a single meat dish in sight. 😢 Whether that was just the day I went or the norm, I can't say for sure having only visited once.
The lineup might leave something to be desired, but if the taste is good, that's what counts! The soup tasted exactly like Ottogi instant soup — which I actually love, especially with a good few shakes of black pepper. 😄 The black rice turned out to be glutinous rice, with a wonderfully sticky, chewy texture that was very satisfying. The steamed egg was the star of the day — lightly salted and perfectly seasoned as a rice companion, with a texture sitting right between firm and soft. I went back for a second helping. 😄
The mackerel was a bit of a letdown though — it had dried out and lacked that rich, oily quality you'd want. Once again, I couldn't help thinking how much better jeyuk would have been in its place... 😂
Wrapped up the meal with janchi guksu, and sikhye (sweet rice punch) was also available as a drink. 😄

It's a place that feels like something's missing, yet the food doesn't actually disappoint — a strangely charming buffet with its own quiet appeal. There are solo seats available too, making it a nice option for the occasional solo lunch! 😄
