독일여행하면서 길거리 프레첼 꼭 한번 사먹고싶다 생각했었는데, 

프랑크푸르트 중앙역 수많은 가게중 골라서 간 곳입니다.

후회하지 않고요, 중앙역 가신다면 꼭 한번 드셔보시길 강력추천!

Ditsch 메뉴판은 따로 찍지 못했고요, 요렇게 진열대 사진으로 대신합니다.ㅎㅎ

각종 피자, 빵. 

프레첼, 샌드위치들이 즐비해있습니다.

자, 프랑크푸르트 중앙역 수많은 집들 중 Ditsch를 선택한 이유입니다.

쭉 둘러봤는데 프레첼 직접 굽는 곳은 이 집밖에 보이지 않았습니다.

떼오는 것 보단 직접 만드는 곳에서 먹어봐야죠!ㅎㅎ

아침에 먹었는데, 사람들이 엄~청 많이 사먹습니다.ㅎㅎ

제 상상은 따끈한 프레첼을 상상했는데, 따끈한게 아니더라고요.

원래 프레첼이란 음식 자체가 따끈하게 먹는게 아닌가봅니다요.

지인이 시킨 버터가 들어간 프레첼, 저는 해바라기씨가 붙어있는 프레첼.

자, 이 비싼 유럽에서 이거 두개 해서 5천원밖에 안됩니다.

무쟈게 저렴합니다.

그리고 양이 엄청 많습니다. 성인 남자도 프레첼 하나 먹으면 배가 가득찹니다.

독일식 서민음식이려나요?

해바라기씨프레첼은 고소함의 끝판왕입니다.

그리고, 프레첼 겉보기엔 딱딱해보이는데, 한개도 안딱딱해요.

겉은 바삭하고 속은 촉촉하고, 담백한 맛에 살짝 소금간 한 맛이에요.

따뜻한 아메리카노와 아주 잘 어울릴 듯한 맛!

다음은 버터버전.

전 이게 더 좋더라고요.ㅎㅎ 해바라기씨는 너무 고소하기만했는데, 요게 프레첼이 좀 더 부드러웠고, 버터의 녹찐한맛까지 함꼐하니까 아주 좋았습니다.

프랑크푸르트 중앙역에서 간단하게, 뭐 먹는법과 시간, 그리고 가격은 간단하지만, 맛은 아주 알찼던.

양까지 알찼던 곳!

This is 'Ditsch,' a fantastic pretzel spot at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). Ever since I started planning my Germany trip, trying a street pretzel was on my must-do list — and out of all the options at the busy central station, this is the place I picked. No regrets whatsoever. If you're passing through Frankfurt Central Station, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I didn't manage to get a photo of the menu board, so here's a shot of the display case instead. 😄 Pizzas, breads, pretzels, sandwiches — all lined up and ready to go.

So, why Ditsch out of all the shops at Frankfurt Central Station? I walked around and looked at a few places, and this was the only one I could see actually baking their pretzels in-house. Why eat somewhere that just brings them in when you can have them freshly made on the spot! 😄 We went in the morning, and the place was absolutely packed with customers.

I had imagined a warm, toasty pretzel — but it turned out pretzels aren't really meant to be eaten piping hot. I guess that's just the nature of the food itself! My friend ordered a butter pretzel, and I went with a sunflower seed pretzel.

Now here's the best part — in expensive Europe, these two came out to less than 5,000 Korean won combined. Incredibly affordable. And the portion size is no joke either. Even a grown adult man will be completely full after just one pretzel. It really feels like everyday German comfort food.

The sunflower seed pretzel is the ultimate in nuttiness — seriously next level. And despite how hard pretzels look from the outside, it wasn't tough at all. The outside is crispy, the inside is soft and moist, with a clean, mild flavor and just a touch of salt. It would pair perfectly with a warm Americano.

Next up, the butter version. Honestly, I preferred this one. 😄 The sunflower seed pretzel was almost too nutty, but this one was a bit softer, and the rich, melt-in-your-mouth butter flavor really took it to the next level.

A quick, satisfying meal at Frankfurt Central Station — simple to order, fast, and cheap, but the flavor and portion size were anything but lacking.

Ditsch — highly recommended!
